Valley Metro is the unified public brand of the regional transit system in and around the Phoenix, Arizona, metropolitan area, responsible for public transit. Prior to Oracle Cloud ERP, the organization relied on a combination of multiple systems, Excel and manual processes. An initial phase including Oracle Cloud Financials, Projects and Supply Chain Management has automated and integrated financial, projects and procurement business processes as well as supporting encumbrance accounting. A subsequent phase added the Oracle Enterprise Performance Cloud so that the organization can easily create organizational and project-based budgets.
