TipTop is excited to announce the hiring of Project Manager, John Pappas (PMP).
Prior to Joining TipTop, John provided consulting services to Comcast Corp. for Project and Program Management. Beginning his career with Verizon’s predecessor company NYNEX Corp. in the mid 90’s, he worked in telecommunications moving to positions of increasing responsibility in outside plant construction, network engineering, capital management, and marketing.
Leaving the telecommunications industry to support a family venture, John was a founder of Vantage Carriers, establishing a logistics company focused on dry bulk products. Building on his logistics experiences led to opportunities in the consumer-packaged goods industry, where further projects in supply chain operations, manufacturing improvement, and transportation management were undertaken and delivered successfully.
Spending time with his wife and daughters, taking family camping trips or kayak excursions in local lakes and rivers with them, John values time with his family. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and fishing.
John obtained a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hofstra University and a master’s degree in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. John is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
